A Customised Approach to Reducing Members Costs

As a way to improve member’s cash-flow and profit, FCANZ recently partnered with Expense Reduction Analysts and is inviting members to participate in an aggregated purchasing scheme. Members benefit from the buying power of the entire FCANZ group, yet retain control over who to use as the programme is tailored to member’s specific product and service requirements.   Around 10 members have expressed interest in aggregating purchasing power in a number of different expense areas. They cover expenses commonly used by cabinetmakers, upholsterers and finishers.   From the initial discussions, it is proposed that timber, board and finishing products will be the first areas to be reviewed for the programme. This will be followed by a variety of other areas later in the year. Other potential areas for aggregated purchasing could include any of the following; advertising, factory consumables, freight, fuel, hardware, insurance, merchant card fees, office products, printing, telecommunications, waste management, PU foam and CNC labour.   Any member wanting to participate can contact the FCANZ Executive Secretary at; avmurraynz@gmail.com
